Transactions on the Lumera Protocol testnet need LUME for gas, and Cascade uploads escrow a storage fee. The faucet on the Lumera Portal sends free testnet LUME to your address.
1

Get a lumera address

Create a wallet with Keplr, or generate a key from the command line.
Your address starts with lumera1.
2

Request tokens

Open the Portal faucet, paste your address, and submit the request. The community AstroStake faucet is an alternative if the Portal faucet is empty. Faucets limit requests per wallet per day.
3

Verify your balance

Open the Lumera Portal and search for your address. Your balance appears on the account page once the faucet transaction lands.
Testnet LUME has no value. There is no faucet on mainnet.
